“Can I do it?”

Yes. That was the question I asked to myself when I saw a senior graduating in just 3,5 years. I never thought of graduating in 3,5 years before, I was only thinking of studying hard and getting good grades. I admit that I regret I did not do great during high school, but I had a lot of fun LOL.

In my last year of college, I chose to write a topic that I like so I enjoyed writing my undergraduate thesis. I also felt so grateful to have such a great Professor that always guide me during my last year, he is the best! At that time, I was only focusing on my undergraduate thesis. I open my laptop for almost every day. The most important thing is I need to make progress every day, whether reading journals or writing two sentences. But of course, I cannot stay in front of my screen for a straight 12 hours. I often play Twitter or watch YouTube to refresh my mind. Sometimes, I went to a cafe too. Some days I felt like I did not want to do anything and I really did nothing that day. But the next day, I am back writing my thesis. I just don’t like to force my brain when it is too packed, I let it rest.

After my Professor accepted my thesis, I was examined twice. To be honest, before I applied for the exam, I was hesitant because I thought I was not ready. I even talked to my friends about it and after thinking for a couple of days, I decided to apply for the exam and I suddenly felt so brave lol. I would like to say thank you to the Professor that told me to apply right away and my friends that encouraged me. But more importantly, my parents were always there during my exams, so I was less nervous hehe.

I have two weeks to revise and my revised thesis needs to be accepted by the examiners. It was a hell of a week. I spent a lot of my time in front of my screen. There was a time that I went to a cafe for straight three days, the funny thing is I met the same customer. It wasn’t an interesting story but I was amazed that we met three times at the same place and time lol. She was also with her laptop the whole time, so I thought we are kind of in the same situation hahaha. Thankfully, I can finish my revision before the deadline.

I graduated in January which means I graduated in 3,4 years. The graduation ceremony was held in March and it went really well. I believe this is not solely because of myself. I have God that made my life easier, my parents & family that always pray for me, and my friends that helped me a lot.

And finally,

“Can I do it?”

“Yes. I can do it!”
